So Lonely
February 10th, 2010It’s lonely
So lonely
It’s beating
But slowly.
It’s aching
And bleeding
It’s brooding
Am trembling
It’s yearning
For some loving
It’s musing
about a soothing.
It’s wrestling
With a rapture
Though am hustling
To save it, another fracture.
My Saintly Birth
February 10th, 2010Blue pyramids
There in, I was born
The humid so rigid
Im prone to the thorn
Hurray! Hurray! It’s male
So is my grandee’s ululation
A cheer from a virgin nightingale
Hmmm…all luck to my nation
Soft moans from my mom
Six kisses on my cheeks
Im all wrapped and warm
In a straw bed, that belonged to the Greeks
My eyes crystal clear
Im innocent to the sheath
To the folks am so dear
So was my saintly birth.
In memory of my dear parents, Mr. Daniel Kawuzi and Miss. Loy Wambi
Pictures of You
February 10th, 2010I close my ears,
Because I don’t want to hear
What the world has to say,
About my heart-decay
But one thing keeps coming all day
Lifts me, tosses me and takes me miles away
…it’s the pictures of you
Running around my mind all through
I try to stop it…
But instead, I ignite it.
Wall papers stream out.
As though I had a gallery of you about
Damn it’s killing me inside
But it’s a fate I can’t decide.
I miss you
February 10th, 2010I miss you,
I miss the warmth…
In yonder sheepish eyes,
That unblinking look of holiness
I miss you,
I miss the sparkle
Of that breathtaking smile
That sends my heart racing for miles.
I miss you,
I miss the honesty
On your saintly face
Only promises me an old age of caress.
I miss you,
I miss the oneness
Of our last embrace
I can’t wait for it to resurface.
I miss you,
I miss you….
I miss you
Yes I do…
If Only You Stay
June 29th, 2009If only you stay
We’ll play
We’ll sway
Like sunrise at the California bay
We’ll ski
We’ll skate
I’ll fix the roller skates
We’ll ride
We’ll jog
We’ll watch the moonlight come
We’ll study
We’ll learn the alphabet
If only you stay
